This hotel is the most beautiful and welcoming hotel I have ever been to. We stayed in room T888 which is a triple room just off from the main building - it was exquisite! The room was immaculately clean, an incredible size with a beautiful bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool area. The pool is clean, ample size and the view it looks out to is gorgeous. You are surrounded by mountains where you can watch people rock climb but it feels like your own private oasis. Breakfast was wonderful - all the food and drink you can imagine, beautifully presented. The shuttle service is great but it is not far to walk to either beach. However, the most incredible part of this hotel is the staff. They are kind, helpful and so so wonderful! They will do anything for you and are always there to greet with a smile. I have never met such pleasant and friendly staff at any other hotel I have been to. Special shout out to John, Nan and Augn! They really looked after us over the two nights we were here. We attended the New Years Eve celebration and it was one of the best New Years we’ve had. It was so much fun with Thai dancing, fire shows and lots of food. Thank you so much to everyone at Phutawan for a lovely two night stay. We will definitely be back. Karen, Gary and Bethany.

Everything is perfect. The best what you can find in Railay. Food in the restaurant is also the best in the whole bay.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool bar/cafe every day where birds and rock climbers accented the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel organized the complicated transfers to and from the airport for us. Our inbound flight was delayed for some hours. We arrived well after dark. I'm doubt we would have managed without the help.

The pool area alone worth it. The staff was friendly (a bit overly friendly to my taste), but I can imagine many appreciates it. They are very attentive and figure out themselves if you need transportation without asking even after checking out hours before and spent all day by the pool after your stay. Super friendly move, so appreciated as some boats leaving the island in the afternoon. Breakfast is good, great selection (lunch menu as well). Cocktails by the pool are great for $3. It's a bit of a walk to the beach but not more than a few minutes. Somebody mentioned that you feel like being in the Avatar movie and the place certainly has this vibe.

We had an unforgettable stay at Phutawan and can’t wait to return! The breathtaking pool views were a highlight, and we absolutely loved having a private jacuzzi in our room. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a refreshing and peaceful atmosphere. The views from the breakfast area and bar were truly one of a kind, making every meal a delight. We enjoyed our time so much that we spent most of our Krabi trip at the hotel—and we have no complaints! Getting to and from the hotel was seamless, thanks to the convenient hourly tuk-tuk service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helping us plan our itinerary and accommodating all our requests.

The view from this hotel is amazing and it has good facilities. Location is convenient as it’s only 10 min away from East Pier and they offer a Tuk Tuk service. It has a nice restaurant and pool bar. The swimming pool offers an infinite view but feels kind of dirty at times. Restaurant offers omelette.

Our stay was great from start to finish. The staff were so welcoming on arrival and had a delicious drink and cool towel waiting for us. Our room was decorated for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Our balcony overlooked the jungle and we had a sea view as well - we saw dusky leaf monkeys jumping between the trees. The pool setting is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, both the food on offer and the view! What we liked most was being a short distance away from all of the hustle and hustle of railay. It is walkable and the hotel offers a free tuk tuk shuttle. Overall a brilliant stay and we were very sad to leave.

Absolutely stunning view from our ocean view room. This property is gorgeous. View from breakfast was incredible and the breakfast buffet was wonderful - including the Thai food. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, even on cloudy/slightly rainy days. Our room came with two pool/beach towels and a waterproof beach bag which was very convenient. Thai teas and coffees that we ordered at the breakfast bar (paid items) were a great touch. Coconuts we ordered pool side were tasty as well! I would not stay in any other hotel in Railay Beach. In addition, I highly recommend the luxury long tail boat tour organized by the hotel (Sea Eagle Tour Company) - we had a great time seeing Hong Island among other islands during this tour.

The room was spacious and felt luxurious. The bed was very comfortable. Overall, the bathroom had good ventilation and plenty of hot water. Loved the balcony mostly for the view of the surrounding cliffs and the partial sea view. The welcome was lovely with the butterfly pea drinks at reception and the additional drinks and cookies in the room. It felt very safe to keep our luggage there (was given luggage tag, and they were stored in a locked room) until we could check into our room. The pool was fantastic with a great view. The pool showers and amenities were lovely.
